It's a 'Patscast' on the Extratime.ie Sportscast as we discuss a mouth-watering final day that will see one of three big clubs condemned to the First Division.
Regular host Declan Marron and panellist Dave Donnelly speak to St Patrick's Athletic captain Ian Bermingham and former Saints goalkeeper Brendan Clarke, now of Limerick.
The Saints face into the final game of the season not yet assured of their continued Premier Division status.
It's been a disappointing year for the Inchicore club who, just four years ago lifted the league title and a year later were crowned FAI Cup winners at the Aviva Stadium.
Their opponents on the latter occasion were Derry City, and it's the same side who stand in their way of Premier Division survival as they travel to Maginn Park on Friday.
Liam Buckley's side sit three points clear of Galway United, who host Dundalk on Friday, in the final relegation spot, so any result other than a defeat will guarantee safety.
The man who's worn the armband all season, leading a young group of players through one of the more difficult seasons in their recent history, says the won't be taking any chances.
Admitting that relegation for the first time in the club's history would be 'catastrophic,' Bermingham speaks of the pride and passion he's seen in seven years at Richmond Park.
We also speak to Dubliner Clarke, who swapped Inchicore for the Market's Field this time last year and hasn't looked back.
Limerick guaranteed their own survival last week with a 2-2 draw at home with Galway United, a game that wasn't without controversy of its own.
A clash between the sleeves of Limerick's home kit and Galway's away led to referee Anthony Buttimer almost calling the match off.
Confessing he's not surprised by anything he sees in this league, Clarke talks about the relief of getting the point they need despite having to leave the pitch injured.
Clarke talks about leaving Pats for the second time, changing styles under Neil McDonald and how damaging it would be to see his former team go down.
